Desert Cross supports the work of Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) through offering and volunteering to pack meals. FMSC is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
Groups from Desert Cross pack meals a few times throughout the year, but you don't have to wait for a group from Desert Cross to attend. FMSC invites groups large and small, as well as individuals. Just sign up through their website! Packing meals is a great way to serve as a family - FMSC welcomes children 5 and older to attend with an adult.
